Join members of the Wellington County Branch, Ontario Ancestors as they partner with the Guelph Public Library’s Archivist to deliver a series of workshops to help you discover your family’s story. Saturday, April 15, 2023 – Using Geographical Resources to Research your Family History
Resources such as maps, atlases, directories, gazetteers and insurance plans can provide valuable information about your ancestors. Join us on April 15 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm to learn how to find these geographic tools, how they can help in identifying where your ancestor lived, the migration routes they may have used, where records may be located when county boundaries change or towns seem to vanish and so much more.
